2009 Look & Listen Festival Prize

The Competition: We invite emerging composers of all nations to apply for the 2008 Look & Listen Festival Prize.
The Prize: One Winner receives a $500 cash prize as well as a performance of his or her work at the 2008 Look & Listen Festival in New York City. The concerts feature performances of 20th and 21st Century music by talented and rigorous professional performers.
The Rules: 1) Eligible works are for any combination of 1-4 instruments (this includes works with tape or electronics). Works without piano are encouraged. There are no stylistic limitations or expectations. 2) Submit one score and recording along with an application fee of $15 (make checks payable to Look & Listen, Inc.), 3) Include a cover sheet containing your name and email address, the title of your submission, duration, instrumentation, and date of composition. Materials will not be returned without an SASE.
